Youth Related Webinars

Youth M.O.V.E National is pleased to offer the Robert Wood Johnson Award for Health Equity. Youth M.O.V.E. National has partnered with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to honor and reward excellence in promoting health equity and systems transformation work. One nominee (either an individual or team of up to two individuals) will receive national recognition, as well as a $3,000 prize. The prize money is not restricted and may be used in any way determined by the winner.
 

Youth M.O.V.E. National presented a webinar focused on Understanding the Role of Trauma in Peer Support. The topics discussed featured an introduction to trauma concepts, how youth peer support and trauma intersect, and how understanding your own trauma can help in your support of others.

The Coalitions for Juvenile Justice hosted Gault at 50: Ensuring Counsel for LGBTQ Youth in the Juvenile Justice System. This webinar focused on the importance of counsel in juvenile delinquency cases, building attorney-client relations, and offered an overview of research on the decriminalization of LGBTQ youth. 

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) and the Missing and Exploited Children's Program (MECP) hosted Supporting LGBTQ Youth Crime Victims. This webinar discussed the culturally specific challenges and facilitators to LGBT youth accessing support and reporting crimes.
