Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD)
FETAL ALCOHOL SPECTRUM DISORDER
The Pennsylvania Fetal Alcohol Task Force promotes Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) as a significant public health issue using factual, research-based information. The goal of the Task Force is the development of a statewide comprehensive system of care that is dedicated to the prevention of FASD and to the diagnosis and treatment of those with FASD and support for their families.
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Awareness Month
September is FASD Awareness Month. The Task Force holds special events and activities that promote the concept of “Nine months, zero alcohol.”
