Carbon, Monroe, and Pike Counties Mental Health Awareness Month 2021

Self-Care Contest

Carbon, Monroe, and Pike Community members are asked to share tips or pictures of what they do for self-care in order to maintain good mental health.  All submissions are due by May 28, 2021. A winner will be chosen at random for a gift card prize, see attached flyer.

Green Light Campaign

Our Second Annual Green Light Campaign will take place the entire month of May.  County Courthouses, hospitals, schools, correctional facilities, businesses, organizations, and community members will light up their space green in support of Mental Health Awareness.

Yard Signs

Mental Health Awareness Yard Signs will be available to pick up for display on May 6th and 7th at Carbon Monroe and Pike MH/DS Offices.  The signs can be placed in spaces for the month of May to show support and provide contact information for those seeking mental health or crisis resources. Anyone or any organization is welcome to pick up and post signs throughout the counties.

Coffee Sleeves

Local shops will provide coffee sleeves with Mental Health Services contact information for the month of May.

Electronic and Static Billboards

Several Electronic and Static Billboards will display messages of Hope for Mental Health Awareness with contact information for Carbon-Monroe-Pike Mental Health and Developmental Services May 1- 29, 2021.  The advertising company has donated the electronic billboard space at no cost to System of Care.

Social Media

Social media posts for MH Awareness will be shared throughout May on Facebook CMP System of Care and Instagram.  

Stigma Rubber Duck

What is all the quacking about?  Watch for our Stop the Stigma Rubber Duck as it travels around our counties sharing the importance of talking about how we think and feel.
